Welcome to Tax Payer Section
The revenue administration process has defined tax payers as a person or legal entity that can be associated with an economic activity. The system identifies tax payers using their unique Revenue Identification Numbers upon which all transactions with the revenue service will be recorded.
Individuals
Single persons who engage in any form of economic activity within the state. They own at least one form of asset.
Companies
Companies and legal entities who engage in business activities within the state. They can be remote or located within the state.
Governments
Government bodies and parastatals who operate from within Edo State are classified as separate tax payers.
Special
Central government approved tax rebates and deals that apply to companies under special considerations are tax payers.
